  • Sunderland Win or Draw @ Liverpool Win
For the first suggested pick of the day, we have a Liverpool team going up against Sunderland. Liverpool has performed a little worse than expected this year, and they currently sit in 10th place with a record of 7-7-6. At home they are 4-3-3 with a goal differential of +4, and would have won this prop 4 out of those 10 times. Meanwhile, Sunderland has been a disappointing team this year, and they sit in 14th place with 22 points and a record of 5-7-8. Away, they have been dreadful, and have gone 2-4-4 with a goal differential of -4, winning this prop 6 out of 10 times. So far, this looks like a toss up, but lets look a little closer. In their last 5 games, Liverpool is 3-2, and have gone 4-1-1 in their last 6 home games. Meanwhile, Sunderland did have a big win against Manchester City in the game before their last, and they have gone 3-2 in their last 5. However they have gone 2-1-3 in their last 6 road games.

My Pick: Liverpool (Suggested Pick)
Why: Even though this looks like a toss up, we are at the mid-point of the season and Liverpool knows they need to step on the pedal if they want to be in contention for Europa League automatic qualifying. I believe they win this game by a score of 2-1 or 3-1.

  • Eastern Michigan 2nd Half Points @ Kentucky WM
For our second suggested pick of the day, we have Eastern Michigan going up against Kentucky. So far this year, Kentucky has allowed 58 points per game at home, while putting up about 84.1. Meanwhile, Eastern Michigan has only been able to average 51 points per game on the road, while allowing 78. To start off, let's look at some previous games Eastern Michigan has played against good teams. Against Syracuse, Eastern Michigan was able to put up 31 points in the second half, while losing by 36. Keep in mind however, that Syracuse is a very good team that was undefeated until beaten by Temple last week. Kentucky played Samford a little while back at home, a similar opponent to Eastern Michigan. Samford was able to put up 42 points in the 2nd half, while going down by 32. However, EMU is much better than Samford. Currently, the line for this game is -26.5 in Kentucky's favor.

My Pick: EMU 2nd Half Points (Suggested Pick)
Why: Personally, I do not think Kentucky is that good. I think they will easily win this game, but only by about 25 or so. I think EMU will put up that many points easily, and win this prop.
  • Duke 15+
  • Portland Trail Blazers
  • Chicago Bulls
  • Memphis Grizzlies
  • San Antonio Spurs
  • Villanova Wildcats
  • Florida 15+
  • Yes
  • Illinois
Not much time for a writeup here, but Illinois is 13-1 this season, while Purdue is only 6-6. Although this looks like some easy green, you have to look a little closer. Purdue's defense has been amazing at home, allowing only 55.4 points per game while their offense has been decent and scored 68.9 points per game. Meanwhile, Illinois's road defense has been embarrassing, allowing 75.5 points per game, but their offense has been great, scoring 81.5 points per game. However, Purdue has only gone 2-3 in their last 5, even though they did play teams such as Xavier and Villanova tough.

My Pick: Illinois (Suggested Pick)
Why: This game is going to be closer than expected, but I think the ranked team pulls it out under the pressure. Expect a 5 point win for Illinois
