For the first suggested pick of the day, the UCONN Huskies will travel to Pittsburgh to play the Panthers. UCONN enters 12-4 with a 1-1 road record, the win coming against ranked Notre Dame, while the loss came to Marquette by 6 in overtime. They average 70.5 points per game on the road, but give up a lot, 70 points per game. In their last 10, they are 7-3, with losses to #1 ranked Louisville, ranked NC State, and Marquette. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh enters 14-4 with a 9-2 home record. The two losses came to Marquette in overtime and Cincinnati. In their last 10, they are also 7-3, but in their last 5 they are only 2-3. At home, they play solid offense and defense, averaging 74.4 points per game while allowing only 53.2. Currently, the line is favoring Pittsburgh at -9.5.

My Pick: Connecticut Single Digit Loss or Win (Suggested Pick)
Why: In my opinion, this is one of the easiest props in a while. UCONN has played solid all year on the road, and Pittsburgh has been terrible recently at home. I think UCONN will actually win this game outright, as their star player Shabazz Napier will play after injuring his shoulder in the last game.
  • Penn State Nittany Lions
  • Matt Kuchar or Tie
  • Purdue Boilermakers
West Virginia will head to the Purdue to play against the Boilermakers in this matchup. So far this season, WVU is 8-8 with a 1-3 road record, the win coming against Texas in OT. They play terrible offense on the road, only scoring 57.5 points, but play okay defense allowing 66.5 points per game. Meanwhile, Purdue enters 9-8 with a 7-3 home record. They have lost to Ohio State (ranked), Xavier (ranked) and Bucknell (not ranked, but it was in the first game of the season) at home. They also have been able to beat ranked Illinois at home. They score 67.4 points per game at home while only allowing 56.5 points per game. In their last 10, Purdue is 6-4 but is riding a 2 game winning streak. Meanwhile, WVU is 5-5 in their last 10, and is currently on a two game losing streak.

My Pick: Purdue Boilermakers (Suggested Pick)
Why: They are one of the better home teams in the country in my opinion, and as you can see West Virginia is really a terrible road team. Currently, the line is favoring Purdue at -3.5, and I think they easily win this game. Assuming UCONN SDLW wins, I will have a Win 8 and I will be picking this game.
