SFTC 8/23/12
Tiger Woods Or Tie @ Rory McIlroy
Here we have a PGA tour golf prop to start off the day. McIlroy enters ranked 3rd in the Fedex Cup and is coming off a win at the PGA Championship. Rory has been very streaky this year, and before the World Golf Championships and the PGA Championship he missed the cut at the US Open and finished +10 at the British Open. Meanwhile, Tiger enters ranked first in the Fedex Cup. He has finished in the top 15 in his past 3 events, coming in 11th at the PGA Championship, 8th at the WGC-Bridgestone and 3rd at the British Open. He has been pretty consistent the whole year from the Players Championship on, only missing one cut. In fact, he has only missed 2 cuts all year compared to McIlroy missing 3 cuts. In his past 3 events, he has shot a 70 or better in the first round, as he is a known fast starter. McIlroy has also started fast his past 3 events, shooting a 70 or better in the first round.

My Pick: Tiger Woods or Tie
Why: The tie option here will be very important. In 2009 when the US Open was played at this same course, Tiger finished at even par, while Rory McIlroy finished at +2. I like Tiger and McIlroy to card the same score.

Hunter Mahan or Tie vs Bubba Watson
This will be the second PGA golf prop of the day. Mahan is ranked 6th in the Fedex Cup and is coming off being cut at the PGA Championship. In fact, he has been over par in 3 of his last 4 events. Meanwhile, Bubba is ranked 5th in the Fedex Cup and is coming off an 11th place finish at the PGA Championship. In fact, he has been under par in 3 of his last 4 tournaments.

My Pick: Bubba Watson
Why: He has been MUCH better of late and should easily beat Hunter Mahan in this 18 hole prop.

Sparta Prague Win/Draw @ Feyenoord Win
Feyenoord enters 1-1-0 in the Netherlands league. They drew 1-1 at home, while winning 1-0 on the road. Meanwhile, enters 3-1-0 in the Czech Liga, good for first place. On the road, they are currently 1-1-0 with a goal differential of 3.

My Pick: Sparta Prague Win/Draw
Why: I don't really know much about these two teams, but  I think Sparta has been playing much better soccer of late. I like the final score to be a 1-1 draw.\

Real Madrid Win/Draw @ Barcelona Win
Here we have the two powerhouses of Spanish soccer clashing head to head. Last season, Real Madrid was able to win La Liga, as Barcelona finished in second. In the first game this season, Barcelona crushed Real Sociedad 5-1, while Real Madrid was only able to draw Valencia at home, 1-1.

My Pick: Barcelona Win
Why: They are at home and should be able to beat the Real Madrid team that didn't play too well in their first game. I think Barcelona will cruise to a 2-1 or 3-1 win in front of their home crowd.

Cincinnati Reds @ Philadelphia Phillies
Pitching Matchup
Cole Hamels: 14-6, 2.94 ERA. Post All Star: 4-2, 2.36 ERA. Home: 6-3, 2.75 ERA.
Johnny Cueto: 16-6, 2.44 ERA. Post All Star: 6-1, 2.55 ERA. Away: 7-5, 2.59 ERA.

Phillies: -112
Reds: +102

My Pick: Philadelphia Phillies
Why: This is a very tough prop to pick. All 3 games have been close this series except for Monday's game, where Philadelphia blew out Cincinnati 12-5. I think it will be a pitcher's duel here and the Phillies' offense will come out on top.

Los Angeles Angels @ Boston Red Sox
Pitching Matchup
CJ Wilson: 9-9, 3.62 ERA. Post All Star: 0-4, 6.38 ERA. Away: 6-4, 3.49 ERA.
Franklin Morales: 3-4, 3.67 ERA. Post All Star: 2-2, 3.95 ERA. Home: 2-2, 5.16 ERA.

Angels: -108
Red Sox: -102

My Pick: Los Angeles Angels LOCK OF THE DAY
Why: They have a better offense than the Red Sox. Although Wilson hasn't been great lately, I believe he will step it up against the struggling Red Sox offense while the Angels offense will light up Franklin Morales.

No Time For Writeups for the Rest Of The Picks but Heres who I have:
Tennessee Titans
Indiana Fever
Atlanta Braves
